For this shoot, my client, Elle, wanted a more creative and avant garde feel to her photos.  She found a designer who makes the most beautiful lace collars.  We were able to book the beautiful Dew Drop Jazz Hall in Mandeville, which is only a few blocks from where I grew up.  It’s funny that until this shoot, I’ve never been inside of the jazz hall.  It was boarded up for most of my childhood and was always a mystery when riding by on my bike with my friends. Now that I’ve seen the inside I would LOVE to shoot there again.  Maybe not in the summer again.  It was so hot that my shirt was completely soaked through with sweat…I think it was worth it though.
