It’s slooowly beginning to cool down outside, which means I can go back to doing outdoor portrait sessions!
I took this shot during the “golden hour” back in February and it made me wonder why I hadn’t previously scheduled more sessions during this time of day.
Golden hour is when the sun is low in the sky, creating beautiful warm light and sun flares. Around this time of year, after Daylight Savings Time ends, the sun sets around 5:30pm. So we would start prepping at 3:30, start shooting at 4:30 and finish with the sun set.
Well, I am booking these sessions now!
These sessions will be just like my typical Beauty Portrait Session, with pampering by talented hair and makeup artists and fun conversation (no guarantee with that one). We just get to wander outside and frolic beneath the setting sun. You’ll frolic, not me. I would cry if I dropped my camera. I’m an ugly cry-er. And I wouldn’t just drop my camera, I’d do that thing where you step forward and attempt to catch it, but kick it farther away. Yeah, no frolicking for me.
I digress.
I already have sessions scheduled this month, but there is still space left. So, let’s get your Beauty Portrait Session scheduled! Take advantage of our delayed winter and get yourself some beautiful, new portraits.
P.S. This is also a good time to get an early jump on Christmas card portraits as well. You’ll beat the busy season and have cards done before the holiday rush.
